Child Sponsorship in Muong Cha Area Programme

I Quadrant partners with World Vision Singapore to make a difference in the lives of the vulnerable children and their families in the Muong Cha Area Programme.

Muong Cha is located in Dien Bien province in northwest Vietnam. It is a mountainous district with rugged terrain, prone to flash floods, tornadoes, hail, and landslides. The local population is ill-equipped to manage these natural disasters. Many children live in poverty, lacking basic needs like food and clothing, which leads to low literacy rates, school dropouts, child marriage, child labour, trafficking, and abuse. Muong Cha is one of the poorest districts in Vietnam.

Through sustainable community-focused solutions, World Vision empowers families and provides access to education, clean water, nutrition, livelihood and child protection so that vulnerable children may have a brighter future.
