In July 2024, a group of 20 SMU students from Project White Dove travelled to Danang, Vietnam, with a unified goal: to inspire local children to pursue higher education.  

In June 2024, 18 diverse students from Singapore Management University (SMU) united under YEP Project Boribo III, an SMU-endorsed initiative in collaboration with World Vision Singapore. Together,  we travelled to Cambodia with a shared mission: to empower the communities within the Rolea Bier and Kampong Svay Area Development Programmes (AP).

Miriam, once silenced by trauma, now advocates for girls’ rights. Despite a painful past, she’s found strength through World Vision’s support, dreaming of starting her own human rights organisation.

On World Humanitarian Day on August 19, World Vision is calling on leaders to do much more to protect the work of aid workers who are being killed and injured in increasing numbers, and who are prevented from delivering assistance to those caught in conflict.
