Press Releases

World Vision Singapore has launched a public fundraising appeal today, pledging S$150,000 to support the most urgent needs of children and families impacted by the escalating conflict in Lebanon. World Vision has been working in Lebanon for over 45 years and will be adapting and scaling up our emergency response as the situation evolves, targeting areas of greatest need and maintaining a focus on children. We are providing emergency essentials including food, clean water, hygiene kits, baby kits, mattresses, and winter clothes, as well as creating safe spaces to provide psychosocial support to traumatized children.

On World Humanitarian Day on August 19, World Vision is calling on leaders to do much more to protect the work of aid workers who are being killed and injured in increasing numbers, and who are prevented from delivering assistance to those caught in conflict.

Calling all young changemakers 13 years and above! World Vision Singapore's annual 30 Hour Famine returns on 18 and 19 May 2024, at Fort Canning Park. This year's transformative event, themed "Hunger Trials," is an immersive experience aimed to raise awareness about the challenging realities faced by vulnerable children battling hunger and poverty due to conflict and climate disasters.
