Giving a Legacy Gift is Really Easy!
1. Gift through CPF monies
You can nominate World Vision as a beneficiary of your CPF upon your demise.
2. Gift through your insurance policies
You can designate World Vision as the beneficiary of your insurance policy should it cease to be of importance to you or your family’s financial security.
3. Gift through your will
a) You can specify a sum of cash or percentage of the value of your estate (e.g. money, real estate, stocks and shares, jewellery, paintings). For example, you might wish to leave $500,000 or 50% of your estate to World Vision. “Estate” is used to describe any money, property or personal belongings owned at the time of one’s death.
b) You can also designate World Vision as the second in line to receive all or part of your bequests, should one or more of your primary named beneficiaries predecease you.
c) You can also make a residuary bequest, where all or part of your estate would be given to your chosen charity only after all other beneficiaries have been provided for in your will.
If you would like to donate by leaving a legacy to World Vision, please consult a solicitor. Your solicitor can help you draft one with a legacy to the organisation of your choice. If you already have a will, you may bequeath your gift by making a simple addition to your existing will, known as a codicil.

World Vision - An Organisation You Can Trust
As part of our stewardship, we optimise resources and distribute them where they are needed most. We carefully monitor and review programmes and costs, use donations and grants for their intended purposes, and look for ways to leverage funds for maximum impact.
Operating Expenditure in World Vision Singapore Office
According to Singapore's charity regulations, the total expenses incurred due to public fundraising appeals in a financial year must not exceed 30% of total donations collected through the public appeals in that year. At World Vision Singapore, the total expenditure was 17.2% of total funds raised in FY21, with over 82.8% going towards our international and local ministries. Read our annual reports here.
Ensuring Donations are Directed to the Appropriate Programmes
Funds collected are channelled to specific programmes in accordance to the need-based budget that is prepared and requested by our Area Development Programmes (ADPs), through the respective National Offices.
Project deliverables and child well-being indicators are agreed upon and regular reports are provided each year to both donors and Support Offices. World Vision Singapore also makes trips to the targeted communities to observe and monitor the improvements in the lives of the beneficiaries. We are committed to ensuring that funds raised are directed to appropriate programmes.
It is mandatory that every National Office and ADP are regularly audited by the Global Centre, Regional Office and external auditors (if necessary). Our global auditors are KPMG. The frequency of auditing depends on the size of the funding of the project. The larger the scale of the project, the more frequent the auditing.
