Service Learning With World Vision Singapore

Dedicated to supporting children and families worldwide to eradicate the causes of poverty and work towards building a sustainable future, World Vision organises a range of programmes that are community-focused and geared towards helping these communities protect themselves and minimise losses for every risk or disaster that may occur.
Our programmes and initiatives are effective purely because of the unconditional support that our volunteers give us in the form of service learning, donating, building homes and even child sponsorship. We welcome service learning initiatives in Singapore to join us in programmes that they are interested in. To find out more about the different areas of need we work with, click here.

How Can Service Learning Benefit You? | World Vision Singapore

Service learning programs in Singapore are often put in place by schools and universities as an opportunity to connect and instil in students a social responsibility tied together with classroom learning. However, self-initiated service learning groups organised by students in Singapore are becoming commonplace now with the increased visibility and desire to give back to communities and carry forward good social responsibility.

Not only do service learning programmes aid non-profits like ours in successfully executing programmes, it creates opportunities for students in Singapore to understand the need to ignite change for the public and social good. Contributing your skills through service learning programmes, whether in Singapore or abroad, can build a momentum of community engagement and reward you with purpose and satisfaction.
