Youth and Schools

From March to June 2022, a team of 18 students from Singapore Management University took part in YEP-GO, engaging with youth beneficiaries from Cambodia to equip them with skills that will increase their employability in the future.

More than 150 youth in Singapore marked the start of their mid-year school holidays by fasting from food for 30 hours and completing educational experiential challenges that took them into the multiverse of vulnerable children bearing the brunt of global crises – conflict, climate change, and COVID-19 – at the first ever hybrid edition of 30 Hour Famine, which was held by World Vision Singapore from 27 to 29 May 2022.

On 2nd and 3rd November 2021, World Vision Singapore conducted a Pad Making Workshop at Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (Secondary) (SCGS), to educate the Secondary 2 girls about what girls in less fortunate circumstances are going through, and teach the students how to sew reusable pads that will be sent to the girls in Nepal.
