Bangladesh - Help child labourers go back to school
Hammer, fire, chemicals, and blades—we’d panic seeing a child near them. Yet for many child laborers in Bangladesh as young as 5, these hazards are part of their daily lives. Living in city slums, hard-to-reach, or disaster-prone areas, their parents are often day laborers struggling to provide for their families. With little choice and unable to afford school fees, many children drop out of school to work alongside their parents. They need to know that school is where they truly belong—a place where they can learn, be safe, and dream of a life beyond mere survival. Enrolled in non-formal education to catch up with their peers, these child laborers can find their way back to school and reclaim their childhood.
