In a world that is troubled and hurting, we are called to keep the light alive. Jesus, the light of the world, calls us to be beacons of hope in times of darkness. When the walls seem to be caving in, whether in our lives or in the lives of those in the nations – we are reminded to let our light shine, to guide, to comfort, and to bring peace.

At Night of Hope, as we come together on World Children’s Day, we hold out our light for the world’s most vulnerable children – lifting them with hope and love that they are never forgotten and never alone.

Together, let’s worship, pray, and hear stories of transformation that reveal how God’s light continues to shine, even in the hardest of times.

Event Highlights

Faith Journeys and Testimonies

Meet Myagmartsermaa Delgersaikhan, National Resource Development Director at World Vision Mongolia, whose remarkable journey from a child who grew up in a World Vision-supported area programme to a passionate staff member at World Vision shows God’s unwavering faithfulness. Growing up in a remote ger district, she faced the harsh realities of poverty but found hope through World Vision’s support, receiving educational resources, and the love of a caring sponsor. This nurturing environment allowed her to thrive against the odds. In a small church community, she discovered the joy of service that deepened her faith. She earned a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree on a government scholarship. Now, as a dedicated staff of World Vision Mongolia, Myagmartsermaa actively works on uplifting vulnerable children, embodying a powerful story of hope and transformation.

Meet a bubbly sponsored child from Selenge Area Programme in Mongolia, whose life has been transformed by your love and support. Her testimony will give a glimpse into her journey of what keeps her going on her way to breaking free from poverty.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

(Matthew 5: 14 -16)
