Clean Water

Access to clean water was the main challenge in Kaung's village. Due to unclean water, children often get sick of diarrhoea while adequate health facilities are in shortage.

 

No child should ever go thirsty or hungry. Children need to be more than fed—they need to be nourished. Water is vital to achieving this.

Even at age 5, Cheru knows that her mother worries about water and struggles to carry enough for their daily needs, though she makes the trek twice a day.
